i don't know where the time goes. and it seems once october hits it's just a whirlwind through thanksgiving and christmas. luckily we were able to spend some very special time with the ones we love in the 404.
i love georgia. and if i had it my way we would have kicked rocks to sin city and watch it fade in our rear-view by now. but since i don't always get my way, our trips to atl are that much more exciting. honestly, i could plant my roots there and not just because we have family already there but because there are so many things to do.
or maybe it's because it reminds me so much of home. like cedar mountain, but better. and the fact that there are more than two seasons had me at hello.
have you ever been to stone mountain? if you ever have the chance take a tour, and definitely take the duck boat. yes. duck. boat. i wish i had a picture of the actual boat. it's land AND water transportation all in one. so serious.
we unfortunately lost our duck whistle.... oops.
i have never been a huge fan of halloween. seems like too much pressure. i'm not that creative, and i am certainly not trying to win any prizes when it comes to jordans costume so luckily he is old enough to pick out his own costume. transformers bumblebee. and yes he still wears that mask. i had to throw away the outfit he had worn it ragged. we spent halloween day at the atlanta zoo. "boo at the zoo" it was so much fun. we got to see all the animals and hit up all the trick-or-treat booths they had set up along the way. the best part? the children's dj. yes, children's dj. i loved them so much i bought the cd. (sucker)
we did attempt to do the traditional style trick-or-treating, but the houses were so far apart after about 4 jordan said he was too tired. fine by me. less candy i was tempted to eat later!
