A Post on Posts

One of my biggest obstacles about keeping a current blog is deciding/knowing what is post worthy.  And does it always deserve pictures.  Many of the blogs I follow seem to have an effortless ability to post on everyday activities and don't just post the happy and monumental milestones in life.  While those moment  are most definitely blog worthy I want to make an effort in posting the minor and seemingly small things.  I'm sure it will take a minute to find my personal blogging style, my groove if you will. Bare with me.

School has started for Dj and myself.  Only 7 days in and the juggling has begun.  Dj, bless his sanity, is taking 5 classes this semester. Mondays and Wednesdays are his days off work but he goes to school from 11am to 7pm.  The rest of the days in the week he goes to school in the am and works in the pm. We rarely see one another.... which, in my opinion, has helped us out in our relationship.  We have to make time to spend with one another and I appreciate our time together even more.  Except for when he spills drinks in the living room and feels the need to cut his hair in different bathrooms. Then I curse.  I mean really both bathrooms? Come. On.  School for me comes down to time management.  The beauty of online classes is you can get ahead rather than trying to keep up.  At first it was hard because I would wait until the day things were due and spend my entire day at the computer and Jordan would suffer watching t.v. all day.  Now, I try and stay ahead and it has helped tremendously.

How cute (and stylish) are they? Kenna is 2nd from the left.

Next week we are going home to watch my niece compete in Region Drill Team! I am SO excited. Those were some of the best days of my life and it's fun to relive those days in my mind. It's gonna be awesome, Mohey is amazing, and its gonna be close. Or maybe not, apparently one of the judged recently judged them at the Richfield competition and was harsh. They placed the lowest of their year there, she didn't like their costumes or their choreography, and they had a few penalties about some headstands or something. Oh the politics.  I am also hoping when we go home that it has or will snow while we are there.  Crazy, I know.  However, Jordan had so much fun in the fake snow in Atlanta that I want him to experience it again, and with cousins.  Plus the coat and overalls I bought at Gap need to be used more than once to make me feel justified in paying full price for both. Right?!

  1. Two words. Come. On. ha ha!

Kenna is SO grown. I was going to say big, but I think she's too old for that. Not sure she'd appreciate it. I really don't even recognize her.

I can justify paying full price for most things. It's a talent. Please let me know if I can assist.
